I got my edusave scholarship but the journey there wasn't easy. ('journey' meaning from my house to woodlands.) It's pretty long, so I'll cut out the details.
My elder sister, my youngest sister and I left home at around 11am. My mum took the taxi from Bedok (she works there) to Punggol. Then on the same taxi, four of us went to woodlands. It's been awhile since I was in a taxi (a car to be exact, since my dad drives a lorry and I take the bus to school.) and it makes me feel... more on land. (since lorries or buses are higher up) We were there too early (11.30am) and the ceremony starts at 1pm. It was supposed to start at 1pm but it started at 1.30am instead. But luckily for me, after I got the certificate, I can leave immediately. (Since I was early, I left earlier as well)
Oh yes, the taxi fee was $20.70. Scary! And I got $500.
