Recently I've been into horror anime and now I'm still on the hunt for more. Well, most horror anime would (I presume) contain gore and stuff which isn't exactly my favourite but as long as they don't show heads being ripped off, half mutilated bodies flying about, then I'm happy. Which brings me to a rather bad experience with an M18 anime of violence and gore- the first of those that I've watched. It was a horrible experience... furthermore, I had to prevent my younger sisters from watching because... well, they are underaged (so was I at that time). Now, I've still come across some anime that are like that but I do not flinch everytime I see the flying body parts, partly due to me being more 'used to' seeing things like that in the anime and secondly... the other anime were nothing compared to the first M18 anime I've watched. Scary~

Alright, today's the presentation for our topic on Japanese culture. I've gotten most of my items together, but I'm still wondering whether to add any new pictures to help my presentation. *Sigh* Powerpoint sucks but not using Powerpoint like usual feels rather awkward. There's also a need to wear formal for the presentation later on, what to do... There was a quiz yesterday for Japanese lesson, our group nearly won though... When our lecturer Shigeta-san was showing pictures on the question for Anime, she was standing closer to Newell's group so Newell was able to see both Anime pictures correct (Though their group didn't win in the end, but 1 more point was all we need to win). Darn... Not that I'm complaining about it (I am aren't I?), but the prize is a CD that teaches Japanese characters. Now that I think about it, I'd probably not have the time to learn all that anyway so... Whatever. >.>My topic for the presentation is Judo as you all know. After watching several videos on youtube and doing the research on Judo, I feel like going to take courses on Judo. Well, I know of 2 Judo academies in Singapore... but they are like far~ One is at Balestier (Toa Payoh!) another is in Bukit Timah! Well, I don't know... sounds like a pain... And it's probably just a sudden urge to learn due to all the research thing. The heck with it, I'll see what I'll do about it.

Since it's Deepavali today, there will not be any school today.
Friday's student comm. is sort of like a 'motivational talk' kind of thing. Most of the talk consists of GPA scores from all the levels and some sort of 'confession'. For example: "I was born with talents, gifts and abilities." (We were required to say things like that... it's rather Adam Khoo-like though we weren't required to pay for the session.)
I'm currently doing research for my Japanese assignment but... I have no idea how to start. It's a presentation thing which deadline is on Thursday, but no powerpoint presentation is allowed. So, we're to give everything in hardcopy (it's going to drain my ink). The presentation iis about 3-4 minutes long, any longer or shorter will mean marks penalised. My topic is Judo by the way.
School will resume tomorrow but I'm still in a rather 'holiday-like' mood...

I didn't fall asleep during class yesterday! Hurray for me! But I was freakin' tired especially after noon. Yesterday's Japanese lesson was mere introduction so not much was taught yesterday. We were taught some Japanese stuff (numbers, greetings, etc), but those things I already know so... it acts sort of like a 'recap' of sorts. We were also required to get come book by today (Thursday 23 October) from the school bookshop for today's lesson, but apparently class starts at 6pm so I can't possibly be going to school earlier by 'god-knows-how-many' hours to get the book and spend another 'I-don't-know-how-many' hours in school doing nothing. So, I asked my elder sister to get the book for me. BUT! Due to some communication error along the way, I didn't get the book so I guess I'd have to go to class empty handed. Maybe I'll share the book with somebody in the class...Oh yes, East Spring's cut-off point for express is now at 212 points. It's absolutely amazing how the points get higher and higher each year (even though I don't remember what the number is for our batch, I bet it's higher). It'll be pretty tough for my youngest sister to get into East Spring, and it'll probably be a pain to look up for other schools that are nearby... *Sigh* I wish her luck (though it's futile now that her PSLE is long over). There's Student Comm session tomorrow at 3pm, so I'd have to go to school earlier. But I guess I'd have to go there even earlier to get the Japanese book from the bookshop. I've been having this irritating hearache for the past few days now and my body's real sore. I think I'm about to fall ill. How stupid, fancy falling ill just when the school term starts. But even if I fall sick, I still have to attend lessons... Man, what a pain...

There will be Japanese lesson later on in the evening. *Sigh* That makes me want to skip school.I spent a few hours yesterday night drifting between 'sleep-mode' and 'awake-mode', but eventually I did fall asleep. Now I'm not sure how I feel, I'm, not exactly tired (in fact I feel more awake than I was yesterday). That may change however as time goes by, I just hope I don't fall asleep in the middle of class.

I reached school at around 5pm (my Japanese lesson starts at 6) and I headed straight to the classroom, only to find "CDS Jap Students, there will not by lessons on 20th October Monday and 21st October Tuesday. Lessons will start on 22nd October Wednesday" pasted on the door. Feeling rather pissed, I went to the sixth floor to collect my DrawEss assignments. After that I went back to double check the stuff written on the paper pasted infront of the door and went back home.I've checked my E-mail but there weren't any E-mails informing us of the changes. Because of that I've wasted a total of an hour plus back and forth from the school. Darn...

It's been awhile since I last blogged. I've closed my blog for a period during the holidays as I was lazy to update, and now I'm back! I feel that I need a way to vent my frustrations and I figured blogging is one way to do it, though it's probably not the best way to do it.It's the start of the new block. The new block starts off with week 27 and ends at week 49. For the next four weeks, I'm going to have Japanese lessons from 6pm to 9pm! OH MY GOD! 9PM! Even though it's just 3 hours of lesson every day, but that arrangement sucks, going to school at 6pm and leaving at 9pm, only to reach home at around 10+ pm to 11pm. *Sigh* Whatever, I could go to ADD/DROP to change that but it'll be a pain so I guess I'll stick to this timetable. (I think).
